Today, we will talk about the wine of Jesus vs your habits.
So, before we start, read the Book of Matthew 9:16-17, amp. Says 16 But, no one puts a piece of unshrunk (new) cloth on an old garment, for the patch pulls away from the garment and a worse tear results. 17 Nor is new wine put into old wineskins [that have lost their elasticity]; otherwise, the wineskins burst, and the [fermenting] wine spills and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, so both are preserved.”
What is this WINE OF JESUS AND YOUR HABITS?
The wine of Jesus is a new life in Christ Jesus, while your habits are the old lifestyles.
It simply means that when you receive Christ Jesus into your life, you drop your old lifestyle and start a new life of a True Christian.
That is why the book of Romans 12:2 amp says And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].
However, when you receive Christ Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, you don’t need to do the things you do before. You do not have to look back. Because if you do those things now that you have received Christ, it will lead you back to sin again; that is”why Christ said in Luke 9:62 amp says “But Jesus said to him, “No”one who puts his hand to the plough and looks back [to the things left”behind] is fit for the kingdom of God.”

When you receive Christ Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, He has to be your top priority. That is why Jesus said, “if you love your father, mother, son or daughter more than Me, you are not worthy of Me.” Matthew 10:37.
Moreover, the thing you need to know is the new and potent wine of Jesus must not be mixed with the stale wine of the world.
Listen carefully! I am about to do a new thing; now it will spring forth; will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.” (Isaiah 43:19 AMP)
