What Is Halloween?
Is Halloween, the devil’s holiday, celebrated each year on October 31st? The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.
You must know; that the devil himself is a thief, liar, deceiver, & murderer. And he also prostrates himself as the angel of light. He always wants to go ahead of time (everything).
They almost sank when Jesus was in the boat with his disciples. And he tempted him there when Jesus was in the wilderness for forty days and forty nights.

So, here are the six reasons why Christians should not join the Halloween celebration.
IT IS THE DEVIL’S HOLIDAY
The reason I said so is; that November 1st is already the holiday for Christians. As I said before, he always likes to move ahead of time. That is why they celebrate it a day before the Christian holiday so that he can deceive more people.
Ephesians 5:11. Do not participate in darkness’s worthless and unproductive deeds, but instead expose them [by exemplifying personal integrity, moral courage, and devout character].

CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN IS DEMONIC
Halloween is demonic because they practice light bonfires. They also wear costumes to ward off ghosts and many other things. And that is why you do not have to celebrate Halloween in other not to open yourself to demonic attacks. And it is a betrayal to God.
1 Corinthians 10:21 You cannot drink [both] the Lord’s cup and the cup of demons. You cannot share in the Lord’s table and the table of demons [thereby becoming partners with them].
THE DEVIL ENCOURAGES TRADITION
In this part, most people are catch-up here. He, of course, encourages tradition. Which is a set-up for Christians and non-Christians alike, but do you know his purpose? His goal is to keep you away from the cross (Christ).
1 Corinthians 10:20. But, the things the Gentiles (pagans) sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons [in effect], and not to God. And, I don’t want you to; become partners with demons [by eating at the feast in the pagan temple].
THE DEVIL IS AN IDENTITY STEALER
The reason is that he stole the identity of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden by letting them know that their way was not good and that they needed to wear something.
He will make you question your identity. Today many Christians walk around without an identity to be what God has called them. That is why most people do not know their purpose in life, but they sure know how to celebrate Halloween. Matthew 4:17 Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.

THE DEVIL IS THE FATHER OF LIARS
John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and it is your will to practice your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and He does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. He speaks what is natural to him when he lies, for he is a liar and the father of lies and half-truths.
OUR GOD IS THE GOD OF LIFE
Yes! Our God is a God of life, but those who join the Halloween celebration focus on death, not life. So that is why they dress in costumes of the dead. Can I ask you something? How pretty does it look when you dress your kids like the devil? Maybe good! Now, does celebrating Halloween glorify God? I guess not! Why do you join the Halloween celebration if it honours the devil?
This generation needs to look out for the right things. That something is good doesn’t mean it is correct. That is the cause why they go into something and get stuck in it. The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is a God of light. And that is why we should dwell in light and celebrate light and the living, not the dead.

I know most people are celebrating Halloween for fun! But I must tell you that, as you do this, you keep separating yourself from God and His blessings.
Always remember this word from our Lord Jesus Christ.
