Have you ever sat down one day to recognise the wonderful ways God works in your life? In the world today! It is common for you to become familiar with things and the people around you that you fail to recognise their uniqueness. Recognising how God uses little things or people near you to work wonders in our lives is essential.
You see, the beauty of every one of us is our uniqueness, which brings out the beauty in us.
The worst of it all is that no one wants to be different. Everyone wants to be like someone else; that is not how God created us. God wants us to be different. That’s why when a woman gives birth to identical twins. There is always something different between these twins, even though they look alike.
I learned we always want to fix and give them no chance of being different.
Ways to Recognise how God works in your life
1. Like in the book of 2 Kings 5:1-15.Naaman was so proud of the water in his land that he rubbished the waters in Israel. The prophet Elisha asked him to wash to receive healing for his leprosy.
In the waters of the Jordan, Naaman later washed himself of his leprosy. God manifests his presence as the only God who rules over the world.
This is a typical example of how we do not recognise how God can use things you don’t value to do mighty works in your life.
2. In Luke 4:24-30, the people of Jesus home town failed to recognise Jesus because they claimed to know him very well.
Have you ever noticed this? When people seem to know you very well, they stop valuing you. I mean, you become nothing to them? I guess yes! Because I have seen that several times. But the sad truth is that we need to see people the way God created them. And also how God used them to do mighty work in our lives.
In that way, you will never miss out on the blessing of God in your life.
Your disposition to recognise God makes a difference in your life.

3. In this life, the things of God does not look nice in our eye. The book of 1 Corinthians 2:14 says. The person without the Holy Spirit does not accept what comes from the Spirit of God. But considers them foolish. And cannot understand them because it is only through the Spirit that you can discern them. Only those who walk by faith can know what comes from God because God is a Spirit.
This is the most crucial part that leads to the first and second points above. Having the Spirit of God in your life will always lead you to the right path. I can never stop emphasising this because that is the engine of your life.

Having the Holy Spirit in your life will lead you to produce suitable fruits because the Spirit guides you into having every one of his gifts.
That is why most of us miss connecting with the Lord. I would want you to know that the things of God are not the way we expect them to be. That is why the bible tells us in Isaiah 55:8 that His ways are not ours.
Conclusion
If God can do mighty things in your life using things you don’t recognise, and even people you think don’t matter. Then I recommend you to receive the Holy Spirit, which is our driver. God used to do mighty works in your life to guide you into discerning and knowing the things and people.
